Hey folks! How’s mustache growing treating you all this Movember? Man I miss my beard but I am so happy with the amount of participation we’ve had with this. Thanks to everyone who have signed up and joined the Jax Stache team. You can still sign up if you want to participate. Please do if you haven’t. You can do so by going here.
So, with that said, to help us raise more money for the event, we’re putting on a bake sale this Friday at First Fridays in front of 5Points Coffee and Spice Co. in 5 Points. We have the ever-so-talented Marisa Ratliff helping us out and will be baking some mustache cookies (not the ones pictured above). I will also be baking and we have a couple other people who will be baking and helping out as well. It’s sure to be a blasty.
We could use more bakers if you still want to help out. If you have another table to donate for the event, that would help to. I’m thinking we should walk up and down the street to try and get people to buy some baked goodies or if we have enough people, maybe set up another area to sell cookies, cakes, brownies and what-have-you. If you’re interested in helping out, baking or anything else, let me know and we’ll coordinate what to do.
Anyway, that’s it for now. I’ll be seeing you all soon. Cheers!

Bring on the Staches!
Movember is in full bloom now, and everything seems to be growing (yeah I went there) quite well, especial on the Jax side of things.
We have our Bake Sale tonight and that should be pretty awesome. We’ll be outside 5pts Coffee & Spice Co. next to Steamworks during First Fridays in 5pts/Riverside. There will be a Jacksonville Beardsmith Society table set up with lots of Movember swag & tasty goodies for sale. All of the proceeds from the bake sale will go to support men’s health, which you can always learn more at www.movember.com.
Bakers include Marisa Ratliff of Sweet n Flour (shortbread mustache cookies), Sean Collins of Jax Beard (ginger butter bars), Sean Todd (oatmeal butterscotch cookies) & Chris Baker (cookies & brownies). Thanks to all of our generous bakers for helping us out.
