In the dawn of the Beards and Brushes art show coming up, I’ve decided that I’m going to share some of the many hirsute art that I come across on the interwebs. I figured I’d start Beard Art Wednesdays! Sounds awesome, so here goes.
We’ll start off with a fantastic Lincoln/Bowie mashup by the amazing Frank Chimero.
Drawing by Marc Johns. Seriously spend some time looking at his work. This one is also one of my favorites.
I love this illustration by “the pear picker,” Bene Rohlmann.
Sweet painting by the amazingly talented Lisel Jane Ashlock.
And last but not least here is BlueBeard by Derek Sullivan. The illustration is based off the BlueBeard folklore. “It’s about a wife who discovers her new husband had murdered his seven previous spouses.”

Now I have something to read on my hump days! Can’t wait for the Beardshow. I can’t wait to see what everyone comes up with.
Loves it! Wish I was artsy enough to include something in the beard show. I’ll just be there taking pics of all the live beards
